Michael Stier, BS, MSAHM, L.Ac.

I graduated from the Midwest College of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine where I completed over 1,000 hours in clinical work, and received a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine plus a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition. Along with working at The Grove in Wauwatosa, I also work as an acupuncturist at an orthopedic clinic and a non-profit, where I have helped hundreds of patients with chronic pain, migraines, neuropathy, digestion, hormonal problems, sleep issues, and emotional imbalances.

Hi my name is Michael and I am a Licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine practitioner living on the border of Milwaukee and Wauwatosa.

My love for health and wellness began after traveling through Central America and Australia working on organic farms where I learned the importance of a healthy lifestyle and nutritious food. I noticed how my own health ailments cleared up when I was exposed to clean food, pure water, and fresh air. I learned that our bodies thrive when living in a balanced and diverse setting, just like the forests and gardens I was tending to. After my travels I moved to Milwaukee and started going to Chinese Medicine school to pursue the idea of what holistic wellness truly means.

As a Chinese Medicine practitioner and licensed acupuncturist, I understand that the body, mind, and spirit is a complex ecosystem and that to fully heal we need to get to the core of the problem and not just mask the symptoms. I feel that each patient’s unique pattern deserves a tailored, holistic plan for the best outcome. I strive to help each individual meet their personal goals with care and dedication to the best of my abilities.

When not in the clinic, Michael loves to grow food, build furniture, forage, paddleboard, and saunter around in nature.
